Infrastruct Security Adds Renowned International Security Experts to Executive Team

Offer Baruch and Richard Fisher join Houston-based critical infrastructure security solution provider

HOUSTON (Aug. 8, 2006) - Infrastruct Security, Inc. has named two internationally-recognized security experts to its executive team - Offer Baruch as Senior Consultant and Richard Fisher as Executive Vice President and Chief Security Officer, announced Daniel Weiss, Founder, CEO, and President.

Offer Baruch, a former Israeli Security Service agent, brings extensive experience in counterterrorism and counter-intelligence systems, especially Islamic fundamental groups, such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad to his role at Infrastruct Security.

Baruch has been involved in the investigation of hundreds of terrorist incidents, as well as serving on several diplomatic missions during his time in the Israeli Foreign Ministry. The missions included high-threat posts in Egypt and Jordan, where he facilitated executive protection security details for diplomats and expatriates. In addition, he was instrumental in strengthening security measures for El Al Airlines.

Baruch, a significant asset for Infrastruct Security’s counter-terrorism and homeland security efforts, graduated from Bar Ilan University in Israeli Government Politics. He is fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, and English.

Richard Fisher, who is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), has managed international security teams for Fortune 100 corporations. Among his extensive professional accomplishments are the following:

  • Supervised an Olympic security team for the XVI Olympic Winter Games in France and the Games of the XXV Olympiad in Spain; and
  • Coordinated negotiations for the release of an ex-patriot who was kidnapped in Colombia.

At Infrastruct Security, Fisher will serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Security Officer. He holds leadership positions in numerous professional organizations, such as the American Petroleum Institute, International Security Management Association, American Society for Industrial Security, Energy Security Council and Houston Crime Stoppers.

Fisher received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and is fluent in English and Spanish. “The more than 70 years of combined experience that Offer and Rick add to the Infrastruct Security team greatly enhances our capability to provide supreme security expertise to our clientele,” Weiss said.
